Donate to the Yemen Appeal

Four out of every five people in Yemen are in need of humanitarian help right now.

But, they are not statistics. They are women and children and families and communities who are struggling without the basics to sustain their lives. Indiscriminate bombing is a fact of life. Conflict is a guarantee every day; clean water is not.

In response, Ontario Medical Foundation is supporting Red Cross efforts on the ground.

Now is the time to deliver food, water, medical help and, though it seems distant, some hope.

We know that when responding to such a massive humanitarian tragedy, the generosity of Canadians is essential to providing comfort and care.

The Red Cross is working around the world to coordinate emergency relief and recovery efforts and get help to people in affected areas as quickly as possible. Your donation to the Yemen Appeal will get life-saving assistance to people in desperate need of assistance. Your donation will strengthen the global Red Cross movement support on the ground in Yemen and deliver hope to those who need it.

On behalf of Ontario Medical Foundation, we would like to extend our deepest gratitude for your donation during these trying moments.

"When man finally learns to control the elements... When the winds will be quiet and the earth cannot be torn apart...When there will be no loneliness... no destitution... no war... When the last hungry man, woman or child is fed... Only then will there be no need for the Red Cross."

– Albert Schweitzer, Nobel Peace Prize winner
