Your donation is supporting the Canadian Red Cross in memory of Theodora Wortel. The Red Cross organization has been close to her heart since being a volunteer in Holland during WWII. Well into her late life, Theodora continued to be a local volunteer for the organization which gave her a great sense of pride and purpose.

Money donated to the Canadian Red Cross Fund is used to support the entire organization as this allows flexibility for the funds raised to be used wherever the current need is greatest.

At home and around the world, the red cross is a sign of hope for people who have lost everything. Whether responding to the COVID-19 pandemic, providing disaster relief and recovery to those in Canada and abroad or helping other vulnerable people through its programs and services, your gift allows them to deliver help to where it is needed most.

The generosity of donors like you will be critical to ensuring the Canadian Red Cross is there for all those in need.
